In fiction writing, developing a well-rounded character is of the utmost importance. Well-rounded character means that the character in the story behaves in a realistic manner – believable to the readers. It generally relates to the character’s complexity – how the character reacts to the varying stimulus that is presented in the story.

Thus, the best answer to the given question would be (B) by having the character change in an important way.

Why does an electric knife have a nylon gear and a steel worm?
Anestetic [448]
Gears are supposed to be softer than worms or pinions so they don't cause as much wear. Each tooth of a worm or pinion meshes with the teeth of the gear many more times in it's life than a tooth on the larger gear, two hard teeth meshing will wear more than a hard ans soft teeth. Having a steel gear would cause the worm to wear out too fast. Ideally the worm wheel should be phosphor bronze but bronze is expensive and plastic is cheap.

Which of the following best describes the effects of industrialization on both
NemiM [27]

Answer: C. Industrialization created factory jobs in urban areas while eliminating agricultural jobs in rural areas.

Explanation:

In the late 19th century, industrialization was in full swing and technology was being created that made farming more efficient. This led to a loss of jobs for people in the rural areas who depended mostly on farming.

These people then had to move to urban areas where industrialization had led to the construction of factories that required more labor. This significantly increased rural to urban migration.
