Jody has been invited to a gymnastics skills development camp for two months this summer. Going to the camp will give her a chan

ce to perfect her skills and improve her performance in meets next season. Before being invited to the camp, she planned on spending time going to the beach with her friends, going on vacation with her parents, and working a part-time job. Answer: As a person, Jody has the right to choose what she sees fit without commenting on anything, but it would also be good to hear what others have to say so that Jody can see things from a bigger perspective.

Explanation:

Jody has a big decision to make between going to camp or doing her summer activities. Although Jody indeed can decide what is in her best interest, if she comments the decision to other people, they could give her opinions that she may not have considered before and could help her make a good decision.
