Answer:

-24degC

Step-by-step explanation:

-6degC dropping by 2degC leads to -8degC (2degC colder, higher value negative numbers are colder as negative numbers increase in the opposite direction of positives)

so next -8degC rising by 3degC which is 3degC hotter(less negative) will give -5degC

the finap drop by 9degC makes the final temperature -5 -19 = -24degC(similar reasoning)

if you want a more straightforward method to doing these sorts of questions, just take temperature rise : add the value it rose by and temperature fall/drop: subtract the value it dropped/falled by.

-6 - 2 = -8
-8 + 3 = -5
-5 - 9 = -14

the temperature at 9am would be -14°C .

Given a circle with measures of (C, d, and r) and a circle with measures of (C', d', and r'), what is r' if C/C' = 0.75 and d =
Harlamova29_29 [7]
r' = 4 Since all circles are similar to each other. Such as the radius always being half of the diameter. The ratio between the diameter and the circumference being pi, etc., we have plenty of information to calculate C, d, and r for both circles. C/C' = 0.75 was given to us. So we know that d/d' is also 0.75. So let's write that equation and solve for d' d/d' = 0.75 6.0/d' = 0.75 6.0 = 0.75d' 6.0/0.75 = d' 8 = d' And r' will be half of d', so 8/2 = 4. Therefore r' = 4.

What is the answer for 5x-2x+8=2+6x+6?
Ede4ka [16]

5x - 2x + 8 = 2 + 6x + 6

Add like terms:

5x - 2x = 3x

2 + 6 = 8

3x + 8 = 6x + 8

To isolate the variable, subtract 6x from both sides of the equation:

3x - 6x = -3x

-3x + 8 = 8

Now subtract 8 from both sides:

8 - 8 = 0

-3x = 0

To finish, divide both sides by -3:

0 ÷ -3x = 0

The answer is x = 0

Hope this helps.
