The answer is A because not being accepted by the humans would be a solid reason to hate them.  B is talking about his travels through the woods but that had nothing to do with his family. C is saying how he can understand himself on his own without his family but it's not evidence that he hates them. D can't be the answer because it talking up humans so the only answer left is A.
