What effects does social media have on teens today?

English

Well, by my opinion, social media has good and in the same time bad effects on teens in these days.

First, let's start with bad effects on teen by using any social media. They are spending a lot of time sitting in there and just looking in there and doing stuff that only teens can know. Then, they can find out or get the experience with meeting with bad guys and have worse physical mind. And in anyway, anything weird, creepy, scary and others bad can happen during that time.

Okay, now let's talk about few good effects that social media can give to teens. They talk and spend time with known people and enjoying it without need to go outside when it's raining or just something bad happens outside. They can find out something interesting, smart for them and good thing for their future or present life.

So, social media needs to be still, but like in everything else, there is a lot of bad and good things about it.

How does characterization support satire? Select three options.
garri49 [273]

The correct answer is:

 • It makes fun of human weaknesses through humorous characters.
 • It exposes human flaws by exaggerating characters' weaknesses.
 • It ridicules socially acceptable behavior by showing how characters' good intentions backfire.

Explanation:

Characterization is the way information about a character is delivered to the audience, while satire is a technique used to expose and criticize through humor, iron, sarcasm and exaggeration. Characterization through satire helps the author show the weaknesses, flaws and awkward behaviors of a character in an entertaining way to the audience and change their perspective towards the character.
