Their language was so different and it could not be deciphered by the enemies because there was no way of understanding it.

They had such a complicated language that no one ever managed to crack it. So they could send all sorts of important messages from the base to the field and not worry about the enemy intercepting and using it against them. <span />

The answer is
A) Freed African Americans had to carry documentation at all times, but free whites did not.

here's why: African americans were seen as "slaves" in those days obviously, so they required to carry 'documentation' or also known as free papers, so they wouldn't be seen as runaways/etc. I don't think i said that right, but white people were not required to carry any because white people were not known to be slaves at that time.

And, if you read frederick douglass's book, (which was more like a diary of being a slave ) he mentions he had to use a paper of some sort to avoid being beaten. Also, if it helps you or makes you feel more comfortable, i have answered this question myself, I hope this answered your question!

Origins

The principles of a Just War originated with classical Greek and Roman philosophers like Plato and Cicero and were added to by Christian theologians like Augustine and Thomas Aquinas.

Elements

There are two parts to Just War theory, both with Latin names:

Jus ad bellum: the conditions under which the use of military force is justified.

Jus in bello: how to conduct a war in an ethical manner.

A war is only a Just War if it is both justified, and carried out in the right way. Some wars fought for noble causes have been rendered unjust because of the way in which they were fought.
