Answer:

madea tries to kill theseus because She doesn't want Aegeus to recognize his son, Theseus, because Aegeus would then reinstate Theseus's position as heir and he would inherit the throne of Athens after Aegeus dies. Medea wants her own son, Medus, to rule Athens after Aegeus dies - she wants to remove Theseus so that this can happen.

Answer: Your answers are in the photo below.

Explanation: Verb moods are classifications that indicate the attitude of the speaker. Verbs have three moods—indicative, imperative, and subjunctive. The indicative and the imperative moods are fairly common. You use the indicative mood in most statements and questions.

1) Indicative Mood-expresses fact, opinion, assertion, question; this is the mood for most of our verbs.

2) Imperative Mood-expresses a command; imperative sentences are written in the imperative mood-remember that the subject is often an understood "you".

3) Subjunctive Mood-expresses a wish for something to be true, or expresses something that is contrary to what actually is

Examples of sentences with verbs having indicative mood:

1) I want a chocolate ice cream cone.

2) Atlanta is the capital of Georgia.

3) Coconut tastes funny.

Examples of sentences with verbs having imperative mood:

1) Clean your room, now.

2) Martha, put your paper in the box.

3) Show your work on the math test.

Examples of sentences with verbs having subjunctive mood:

1) If only I were at the beach right now.

2) I wish you had brought your new bike.

3) If I were you, I would be excited about the play.

"I cannot send you one single flower from this
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

Answer:

It is a metaphor that compares sunlight to gold.

Explanation:

Tagore tries to converse with all of his readers through this poem. Tagore’s poem talks about time and old age. The voice of the poem is an old man whose audience is of a younger group. The use of apostrophe brings us closer to the old man. Instead of being just an audience, we become part of the poem or its receiver. We are told in everything we see today has its own history and beauty. The entire poem becomes timeless, as the receiver can be anyone at any age.
