Sally threw her bike and ran towards the house. She wanted to figure out what made that loud noise coming from in the house. She knocked on the door shouting, "Hello? Anyone there?" No one answered but the loud noise continued to play. She grabbed a bobby pin from her hair that her mother put up this morning and used it to unlock the door. Once she got in, she searched to find the noise. It wasn't in the living room, it wasn't in the kitchen, and it surely wasn't in the bedrooms. Sally looked up and noticed there was a string attached to a little panel on the roof. She pulled on the string and down came a ladder, leading up to the attic. She braced herself for what was about to come, climbing up the steps slowly. Sally peered into the room to see a bright lit up T.V. with a person she's never seen before watching it. The stranger looked at her and became shocked, turned off the TV, and tried to run past her to get out of the house. The attic was shut though, so the stranger needed to take some time to put it down. Sally stopped the stranger, who appeared to be a male, and questioned him, "What are you doing in this house? The real owners are on vacation right now!" The stranger didn't answer, finally opened the attic door and ran out the house as fast as he could. Sally tried to run after him, but she was much slower. The guy was no where in sight when she got outside. Sally immediately called the owners of the house and told them about this incident, and the man was never in there again.

How is Roosevelt’s claim about progress represented by the themes, characters, and events of “Autumntime”? Use RACE2S to answer
MissTica

The theme of Autumntime represents progress because if nature is not valued and protected ,nature which is present in the world today may not be present in the future.

Textual Evidence:  A. Lentini writes, <em>“In the yard was a live tree—an oke was what Mom called it. When the news of the tree’s discovery leaked out, quite a few sightseers stopped by to have a look at it, and the local government, realizing the money-making potential, began charging admission and advertising the place. By now it had become a favorite spot for school field trips and family excursions such as ours.“ (‘Autumntime”)</em>

<em>The teller of the book Autumntime means that real live trees are rare in his community . People in society felt that buildings were more important than nature and  trees were no longer valued .One tree remained in that community  and soon that tree will be gone as well.</em>

Based on the passage, what conclusion can be drawn about Juliet?
Serggg [28]
I assume this question is from romeo and juliet? I think juliet was a love lust, girl who was willing to kill herself for her boyfriend just because of her parents. She is also kind of bratty.
