I think for me my world would be perfect if I could somehow gain more self confidence or be more secure of myself and be more accepting and have a more carefree attitude that way I would be comfortable with who I was as well as not be worried about what was happening around me , because I think in order to have a perfect life you don’t necessarily need to change the world around you (it would never really be possible anyways because you can’t control the thoughts and actions of others) but rather change yourself , in a way that allows you to adapt with ease if that makes any sense like circumstances and situations amongst you may not be considered “perfect” but you felt as if your life was perfect because you yourself were in a mental state of “perfection” and the choices that you would make for your life would be suited to you and that’s all that would matter

Which of the following excerpts from F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Winter Dreams" exemplifies Dexter's disillusionment with love?
kherson [118]
"<span>a.He loved her, and he would love her until the day he was too old for loving—but he could not have her. So he tasted the deep pain that is reserved only for the strong, just as he had tasted for a little while the deep happiness." is the best option, since in this passage it is clear that although he was once fond of love, he has been hurt too many times to feel it take hold of him in the same way.</span>
