Answer:

B) $800

Explanation:

In order to determine the total cost first we have to find the economic order quantity which is shown below:

= \sqrt{\frac{2\times \text{Annual demand}\times \text{Ordering cost}}{\text{Carrying cost}}}

= \sqrt{\frac{2\times \text{4,000}\times \text{\$20}}{\text{\$4}}}

= 200 units

Now total cost is

= Ordering cost + holding cost

= (Annual demand ÷ Economic order quantity × Ordering cost per order) + (Economic order quantity ÷ 2  Holding cost per unit)

= (4,000 units ÷ 200 units × $20) + (200 units ÷ 2 × $4)

= $400 + $400

= $800

Compute cost of goods sold for 2015 using the following information. Finished goods inventory, Dec. 31, 2014 $ 345,000 Work in p
SVEN [57.7K]

Answer:

$991,300

Explanation:

Given that,

Finished goods inventory, Dec. 31, 2014 = $345,000

Work in process inventory, Dec. 31, 2014 = $83,500

Work in process inventory, Dec. 31, 2015 = $72,300

Cost of goods manufactured, 2015 = $918,700

Finished goods inventory, Dec. 31, 2015 = $283,600

We need to calculate cost of goods manufactured first.

Cost of goods manufactured:

= Cost of goods manufactured, 2015 + Beginning work in process inventory - Ending work in process inventory

= $918,700 + $83,500 - $72,300

= $929,900

Cost of goods sold for 2015:

= Beginning finished goods inventory + Cost of goods manufactured - Ending finished goods inventory

= $345,000 + $929,900 - $283,600

= $991,300

Verizon [17]
If interest computation is based solely on the invested amount of $7,000.00, interest per year is $472.50. For 10 years, the daughter will earn a total of $4,725.00 interest on top of the invested amount. But if interest is compounded annually, then the total interest at the end of 10 years would be $6,451.69.

Jole Co. lent $10,000 to a major supplier in exchange for a non interest bearing note due in three years and a contract to purch
bearhunter [10]

Answer: a. . Both discount on note receivable and deferred charge.

Explanation:

To correctly account for this transaction both the discount and the deferred charge should be recorded.

The note is a non-interest bearing note which means that profit will only be made on it if it was bought on a discount with the full amount due for refund at maturity. To correctly account for this then the discount rate must be recorded to ensure that the discount is recognized.

Jole Co. also made a commitment to purchase a fixed amount of goods at 10% which means that there is now a purchase commitment which has to be recognized in the books so they must record that deferred charge as well.

this is an example of semantic memory

<h3>What is semantic memory?</h3>

Semantic memory refers to general world knowledge collected by humans over the course of their lifetimes. This general knowledge is influenced by experience and culture.

You are using semantic memory when you know what an object is, the name of a color, or the name of the president. Semantic memory is critical for children and students since it allows you to recall the facts that you are learning and being evaluated on.

Semantic memory is conscious long-term memory for the world's meaning, understanding, and conceptual facts. Semantic memory is one of two types of explicit, conscious, long-term memory, which is memory that may be recovered into conscious awareness after a considerable delay (from several seconds to several minutes).

LMN Insurance Company is concerned about its exposure to hurricane losses for property risks it insured on the Gulf Coast. LMN b
ELEN [110]

Answer:

c) Catastrophe Bonds

Explanation:

These type of bonds are also known as the CAT bonds, and they are issued  at any catastrophic event which is foreseen in the future. Basically these are insured linked securities that are used in the process of managing risks that are associated with the catastrophic events such as mentioned in the question i.e hurricane.

Any investor before investing in these bonds should fully understand what type of bonds are these because they posses a greater risk of low return and are very different from conventional bonds.

Hope this helps.

Thanks buddy.
