A result of globalization is that the countries around the wash being more dependent on one another.

Explanation:

The globalization is a process through which the countries around the world have been more and more connected, but also more and more dependent. This process has been having its biggest impact on the economy, but also on the culture. One major trait of the globalization is that the countries are becoming more specialized when it comes to production of goods and cervices.

The specialization of the countries means that they only orientate toward few goods and services for which they have the best conditions. This leads to higher quality, but also lower prices. On the other hand, this makes the countries very dependent on each other, as they don't produce enough to sustain themselves, but rely on export for profit, and import to satisfy their demands.

Examples of such specialization are:

  • Ghana's production of cocoa beans
  • Uzbekistan's production of cotton
  • Ukraine's production of wheat
