yes , or maybe no .

Everything in this universe is not clear . if it was then the life here would be so easy . isn't it ?

we know that a light when passes through a prism it gets dispered in 7 differen color . If i ask you why it happens , you probably would hapily say" hey ! it happens because of dispersion of lighr " . If it ask you if you carry a liitle toy truck carrying a ball in top of it , and you suddenly pull it forwards the ball goes backwards . if i ask you why it happened you would say " hey ! have you gone crazy these days ? it happens because of inertia which is also the first law of newton " yes ? But if i ask you why the ball resists a change in its motion ? why the ball wants to be in its position in which it is kept ? why it doesn't want to move along with the the truck ?

you would probably stuck here .

we all including scientists dont know why it happens and we have named it as "inertia" . we say it happens because of inertia have any school have ever taught you why inertia ?

This is how things do work in this world , we actually dont know what things are and why do they exist . the problem is witb our mentality . we always think hardwork is everything . yeah it is ! but we need to have a lot of brain to perform smart work when needed . the question actually depends on what the situation is in reality . the will really dont make any sense without knowing this situation .

but

practice pays off !

What poetic device is not used in lines 3?
Digiron [165]

Answer:

The poetic device that is not used in line 3 of "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe is External rhyme.

Explanation:

The line 3 in "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe is "While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping" and here we have the use of internal rhyme with the words "napping" and tapping", then there is the use of alliteration with the repeated sound of the consonant "n" in "nodded", "nearly" and "napping".

Which of the following can convey setting in a story? Name of character The age of the character The culture of the character Th
umka21 [38]

Answer:

-The culture of the character

-The thoughts of a character

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Think about what setting means.

The setting is the time, place, and circumstances in which something occurs or develops.

So what out of the four choices helps do that?

The name of the character can't tell you about settings. Its a name not a descriptor. Ex: John.: That doesn't tell you as the reader anything about the time, place, or circumstances.

The age could possibly give you some context. But its can also just be a sentance. Ex: Daisy is 14.: you can get a little bit. But not enought in some circumstances. So for that i marked it as no.
