This all results in tragedies when stronger hurricanes hit these regions, with the people having no time to escape because they have been notified too late, or not notified at all. The majority of the houses and other infrastructure gets totally destroyed, and the bad organization often lives the people on their own.
The results of this unfortunately are thousands of dead, badly injured, homeless, lack of food, lack of freshwater, and enormous material damage. This can easily be seen in the likes of:
