Answer:

One possible answer:

Bar 3: quarter note, quarter rest, two eight notes, quarter note

Bar 4: half note, half note

Explanation:

In the attachment, the yellow highlights, called bar lines, separate the bars.

There are four bars. Each bar has to have the same number of beats. I counted the beats in red. "+" means 1/2 a beat.

There are different types of notes, and they each have different amounts of beats.

See the first bar:

The first one with an empty head, a half note, is worth 2 beats.

The second one with a filled head, a quarter note, it worth 1 beat.

The third note is actually two notes together. They are two eighth notes, each worth 1/2 a beat. Together, they are 1 beat.

2 + 1 + 1/2 + 1/2 = 4

In the second bar, there are four quarter notes. Each quarter note is 1 beat.

Check the number of beats in this bar.

1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 4

For the third and fourth bars, choose any combination of notes that give you 4 beats.

See the other picture for a summary of notes and rests.
