seee help me here The Tell-Tale Heart By Edgar Allen Poe Claim: The storyteller believes that he is not crazy although he is. From the beginning, the narrator was attempting to convince the reader that he was not crazy although he was bothered over his neighbor's eye. The pace of the story-line began from the narrator admitting how he had a bad feeling whenever the old man's vulture eye looked at the narrator but didn't think that the narrator was crazy over it. Soon enough throughout the story, the narrator was driven crazy over the vulture looking eye from the old man and decided to kill the old man. Although from the reader's perspective it seems to look like the narrator was crazy, the narrator did not think so. The narrator had planned very meticulously over the thought of killing the old man and acted out on it. Once the deed was done, the police came by to check because a neighbor reported suspicious activity by the old man's home. The narrator let the police in the house search it and the narrator had explained how the old man was gone to visit a friend out in the country and the police believed him. But the narrator's guilt got to him and put him on edge. He behaved more and more suspicious and finally let a cry out of admitting to killing the man because the narrator thought the policemen were on to him. The way that the mood affected me was that the narrator had begun to admit that he was a normal person, perfectly fine. But once the narrator put out the exposition it started to give out the expression that he was crazy and him denying that he wasn't crazy made the narrator even more suspicious. To conclude my claim, I see that narrator is genuinely crazy and that even though he convinced his self and attempted to prove the reader he wasn't crazy, in the end, he was.

Which of the actions listed can help you to determine the tone of a text?
Travka [436]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

C usually doesn't help with anything aside from implying how fast the plot is progressing, or a sudden break/ change from the initial storyline, that kind of thing.

B. The surface level topic is always very apparent, it's the underlying topic that requires knowing what's the tone of the text and some other factors to know.

D. The quantity of adjectives used usually doesn't matter as much as the quality of the adjectives used.

So A is the answer I deducted.

Luden [163]

Answer:

Explanation:

Hamlet is a Play by the revered William Shakespeare. In Hamlet's soliloquy, he was actually expressing his shame in addition to his guilt for dilly dallying before doing anything whatsoever and ultimately try to take revenge with regards to the death of his father.

Also, he compares his inactions and lack of courage, to giving a dull reply to the actor's performance. He goes on to contemplate the reason behind he not being able to express his emotions in the same way. At the time of his soliloquy, Hamlet creates a plan to reveal Claudius's guilt. He made the players reenact his father's murder on stage, that of which he hoped will lead to a response from King Claudius thereby giving Hamlet the confirmation he had been searching for.
