The gulf stream flows strong, an amount greater than that rivers carried by all the world's rivers as been combined. The gulf stream is caused by a large system of powerful winds. Gulf means it is urinated of Mexico and flows into the Atlantic Ocean.

Stream means strong, fast moving, warm ocean current originates in the gulf. Gulf stream transports nearly four billion cubic feet of water per second as it flows. It's current speed about one mile per hour.
