Energy can come from different things. And in different forms.

Explanation:

For example gas comes as a liquid when its in your car it transforms into gas. Another example a lightbulb releases thermal energy get energy from the plug comes in, so that's another way energy transforms. Also your tv it releases thermal energy after a while of use.
