Answer:

A way in which the government might respond to rising threats to national security through fiscal policy would be by increasing military spending.

Explanation:

External threats to national security are those situations, caused by policies or events generated by other countries or foreign organizations, which constitute a risk to the internal well-being of the United States.

To counter these threats, deterrence and immediate response power is needed, which is only provided by the armed forces (which intimidate and in turn respond to aggressions). Therefore, increasing public spending and allocating it to military expenses is a way of responding to threats to national security, since a greater military presence implies a greater capacity to respond and prevent these threats.

What were the cases of Cherokee Nation v. Georgia and Worchester v. Georgia (tell what happened in each case)? How do the cases
Semenov [28]
By refusing to consider Cherokee Nation v. Georgia (1831), the Supreme Court denied self-government to a Native American tribe. Prior to 1831, the federal government treated tribes as foreign entities in conducting official interactions with them. In an effort to keep their tribal lands, the Cherokee living within Georgia turned to farming and ranching. They also wrote a constitution and laws reflecting some aspects of U.S. law. The state of Georgia declared all the Cherokee laws void, prompting that nation to appeal to the Supreme Court. Chief Justice John Marshall wrote the opinion dismissing the case, saying that Indian tribes were "domestic dependent nations" and could not turn to the Supreme Court. The case's dismissal allowed Georgia to strip the tribe of its governmental forms.

Reflection Questions:

Which group contributed the most to American society and culture? Explain your answer using specific examples from the lesson.

The group that contributed the most to American society and culture is the Native Americans. They came up with the famous game lacrosse that is played by schools and other organizations. The natives also dyed beads that were traded and made into necklaces or incorporated them into dresses. The last thing they contributed to America is the unique names they made up. These names were used in U.S maps. Without these names then we would have named it ordinary and boring.

Now it’s time to put on your thinking caps. Use the lesson and your life to answer the next question.

How has the role of children in society changed from colonial times to the present? (Hint: Do children still do the same things today as they did in colonial times? What is the same? What is different?)

Children now don’t really have to do the same things as the children in the past. Some things that were similar are having school from fall to spring. Another thing that is similar is doing chores. One thing that was different was the variety of chores they did. For example, girls made soap or clothing while boys worked on the farm. Children now depend on their parents to get the goods and needs we need. This means children don’t have to work on farms and rely on them.

I got a 94% so fix my mistakes with what my teacher said... also please put these answers in your own words
