Why was the korematsu vs united states case important?
Art [367]
Korematsu vs. US was a Supreme Court case regarding the treatment of Japanese-American citizens during World War II. Shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066. This allowed for the US government to remove any people from their homes in military zones.

This order lead to the internment of hundreds of thousands of Japanese-American citizens. Korematsu challenged this act as unconstitutional and argued that these Japanese-American citizens were not given their 14th amendment rights.

However, the court ruled in favor of the government, stating that the safety and security of America as a whole triumphs the right of the individual.

What are the possible explanations for why the democrats dominated congress from 1933-1994?
Grace [21]
There are several reasons to support this. Back in the 1950's and 60's, the high unemployment rate equated to high Democratic backing. The democratic backing rose significantly as more and more issues surfaced. State Legislation which were controlled by the democrats redrew congressional district maps.
This made it difficult for the Republicans to win House seats. Up until the 90's till today, it is evident that democrats tend to do better in low-turnout districts as compared to the republicans who tend to do well in high-turnout district and thus, dominate congress. According to very many political science evidence, till date, suggest that electoral system has no partisan bias.

Multiple perspectives can help one better understand __________. A. personal events B. historical events C. both personal events
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

The correct answer is C. both personal events and historical events

Explanation:

C is correct  answer because multi-perspective approach means that every event should be seen from more angles. In that sense not only historical events that always have at least two sides, but sometimes even more, but also personal events should be seen at least from another perspective. That is because we sometimes can be biased and are not able to see the things that are happening to us realistically.

All other answers because of that are not correct, because it applies both on historical and personal events.
