slavikrds [6]

Answer:

pressure of the gas inside the lungs will be =1.35 atm

Explanation:

so for calculation of pressure of gas we will use the formula

(remember to convert *C to kelvin)

PV₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂           As we know that Temperature = 310.5 k =37 degree

so for pressure P₂

P₂=P₁V₁T₂/T₁V₂

= ((1.00atm)(2.20L)(310.15K))/ ((298.15K) (1.70L)

=1.35 atm

(remember to convert *C to kelvin)

What is phagocytosis?
Sauron [17]

Phagocytosis is a process where cells can engulf bacteria or food.

<h3>What is phagocytosis?</h3>

Phagocytosis is a process in which cells such as macrophages surround and engulf some type of substance that the body wants to eliminate. Phagocytosis is a type of <em>endocytoses</em>. It is a process that the immune system uses to eliminate pathogens or cellular debris, finishing the material being digested by the cell, seen in processes such as infection.

We also see it in <em>apoptosis</em>, where the macrophages are going to ingest the remains of the apoptotic cell for the elimination of their cellular remains.

Therefore, we can confirm that phagocytosis is a process where cells can engulf bacteria or food.

Which of the followings statements is true about cones?a. All of these statements are true.b. They are found in the fovea.c. The
levacccp [35]

Answer:

a. All of these statements are true

Explanation:

The fovea is a region of the retina that’s densely packed with cones, a type of photoreceptor (a cell that detects light). The other type of photoreceptor is the rod.

While <u>rods function at low light levels</u> and allow night vision, they can’t distinguish color. In contrast, <u>cones function at high light levels and provide color vision</u>.

That's why you can't perfectly distinguish colors in a dark place.
