History

Answer:

The parts of the Connecticut Compromise were:

-Each state would have two representatives in the Senate.

-Congress would have two houses that both had to pass a given law.

-The House of Representatives would have its members elected based on population.

Explanation:

The Connecticut Compromise of 1787 merged the Virginia Plan that favored population-based representation, and the New Jersey Plan, which listed each state as an equal.

It established a bicameral system: one chamber in favor of the Virginia Plan, based on the population of the States, and the other in accordance with the New Jersey Plan, by which all States voted in equality.

This was an important issue in the new United States. The small States, with a small population, wanted their voices to be heard in the federal government, as well as those of large states with a large population, such as Virginia or New York. With its plan, Virginia wanted to have greater representation because a large percentage of the American population lived in that state. In this way it would have control over what happened in the country.

What was ironic about the 1804 crowning of Napolean Bonaparte?
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

Napolean crowned himself emperor.

Explanation:

Napolean Bonaparte's coronation in 1804 is ironic since he declared himself Emperor. Napoleon Bonaparte was France's first emperor and considered one of the country's finest military leaders. Napoleon was recognized as a military genius because he won several wars for France, allowing the country to expand. Despite his military background, Napolean crowned himself Emperor and declared that he would not be ruled by the Romans or submit to any force other than himself. As a result, the Crowning of 1804 is ironic because he crowned himself Emperor.
