Charles Schnenck was arrested for his antiwar activities during World War One. He opposed the war because it would only led to mass suffering and death and will only benefit the rich who stand to profit from the war. He was arrested under the Espionage Act on the grounds that during times of war, limiting the freedom of speech was justified.

Further Explanation:-

Congress of the United States has always had the vision to promote national duty among people of the country as was in support of as much as involvement of the people in the world war 1 as possible. To bring this idea of nationalism forward, The congress enacted the number of laws that restricted the first amendment of freedom to stop the anti-war dissent.

During the series of passing the laws, Congress also passed the Espionage Act, This act imposed stiff penalties on the people who used to do ant-governmental activities and who intended to stall American war efforts in regards to World War 1.

During the same period of time, Charles Schenck was arrested as he was charged with violation of the Espionage act. The supporters of the socialist party opposed the war and also urged people of the United States to oppose war as well.

It you are Hernando Cortes. How should you deal with the native inhabitants of the Americas?
telo118 [61]

Answer:

Ideally, Hernan Cortes should try to establish peaceful alliances with the Native Americans, as hard as this might be. The problem is that the Aztecs were at war with many other tribes, and it would have been incredibly hard for Cortes to form an alliance among them.

Another problem is that Cortes and his Spanish companions were bringing diseases for which the Native Americans had no antibodies, so it is likely that many Native Americans would have died no matter what Cortes and the Spaniards did.
