Answer:

Confirmation Bias

Explanation:

According to my research on studies conducted by various psychologists, I can say that based on the information provided within the question Erica's conclusion illustrates Confirmation Bias. This term refers to when an individual  focuses on searching for, interpreting, favoring, or recalling information in such a way that agrees with that individuals prior belief or hypothesis. Which is why Erica believes that he is using the donuts as an excuse, it is to affirm her feelings of dislike towards that co-worker.

inessss [21]

Answer: There was thunder and there was a flash of lightning.

Explanation:  The clause does not express a complete thought and cannot stand on its own as a sentence. ( there was thunder).

( there was a flash of lightning) is the dependent clause. It contains the subject he and the verb injured. since it says there was the thunder that would be the clause so since there was thunder it would make it lightning so that would the dependent clause because the thunder caused the lightning.

Hope this helps, good luck.
