Nazism was never a democracy, as the public never decided the problems about it. 2. is also wrong, because many Gypsies and Slavs were at the concentration camps. 1 is true because Hitler wanted to influence the children to that their beliefs would stay alive.<span />
Slavery was incredibly divisive because the Us was expanding into the west, and each new state had to decide whether it was going to be "slave" or "free", so there was no middle ground in terms of how the extension of slavery would unfold. This led to the Civil War.
