Assertive communication is <em>to express ideas and feelings (negative and positive) in a direct, clear, open and honest way.</em> This kind of communication aims to respect, minimize conflict and control anger.

But in a time of global quarantine, it has become clear that the most important exchange is one of ideas. Child support payments, like many things we do as a society, are often ineffective and aligned with the wrong goals.
