Explanation:

Divide -

It is an elevated boundary separating the areas which are drained by the different river systems .

This is also called the drainage divide .

Water that flows on one of the side of the divide empties into one body of the water , while the water that flows on the side empties into the another .

Divides ranges in the height from a very slight rise in the land to the crest of the range of mountain .

For example ,

<u>A divide in the low - lying flood plains in the northern Belgium , rise from a few meters .</u>

In the extreme , the Andes is one of the largest mountain ranges in the world present in the South America .

A mountain range which forms a divide is known as a dividing range .

Three major types of divides are the ,

continental divides,minor divides and major divides .

Well I do know that both Canada and the US have been working on saving animals and plants that live in the wild. I also know that threw these last 5 years we have been making over 14 natural parks a year in the US alone. Canada making less. Both country's want to save natural landscape and they think the best way to do so is natural parks.
