The hill called Skrka, is a hill with small height of around 200 meters, stretching along the west shores of the Vardar River, in the middle section of the Tikvesh valley. It is a hill that is characteristic for the following things:
- It is a hill with semi-arid landscape, reminding in appearance of the landscape in Algeria and Morocco, and is part of the interrupting chain of Ponto-Dacian steps. - The hill is covered with sharp, thin, plate like sedimentary rocks. - The erosion is very big. - The flora is of consisted of few plants that are very resistant to drought, and manage to grow in very poor soil.
