3.) What strategy did the Civil Rights movement and its leaders use? How did this change the
marishachu [46]

Answer: public education, legislative lobbying, and litigation

Explanation:

The strategy of public education, legislative lobbying, and litigation that had typified the civil rights movement during the first half of the 20th century broadened after Brown to a strategy that emphasized "direct action": boycotts, sit-ins, Freedom Rides, marches or walks, and similar tactics that relied on mass mobilization, nonviolent resistance, standing in line, and, at times, civil disobedience.

Temka [501]

Hello :)

The twelve tables reveal quite a lot about the romans. The tables tell historians about their existence like how their society honored the rule of law greatly. Clearly enough to have it all written down to acomplish equal treatment before their citizens.

As a result of winning what war did the US become an empire? What colonies did it gain?
lys-0071 [83]
An Empire, Well I wouldn't call us an Empire, but after the Spanish-American War in 1898, The United States DEFINITELY became an Imperial power.

The United States had gained Guam, Philippines, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Although they did not own Cuba because the Teller Amendment forbid America to do so, the sneaky Platt Amendment had forced Cuba to sell lands to America... Of these lands are Guantanamo Bay, which, although the Platt Amendment was overturned during Roosevelts term, still stays a US possession today.
