Further Explanation:

The Progressive-epoch was the period of political mends and social activism in the United States. The period between 1890 to 1920 is known as the Progressive epoch in the United States. Some of the main aim of Progressives during this era were to eradicate the issues which were caused by Political Corruption, Immigration, Industrialization or Urbanization, and Child labor. Many laws obstructing child labor were enforced as part of the progressive era reforms movement. Congress passed such law during the period 1902 and 1915 but were declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. The criticizers of the child labor quested for the constitutional amendment approving Federal Child Labor Legislation and emphasized the reforms through state legislature. Amendment restricting child labor was passed by congress in 1924 but was not ratified by some states due to the conservative political climate of that era.

The minimal role of child labor in the United States observed today is due to the reforms that were implemented during the Progressive era. The child labors were not a matter of controversies but were an integral part of handicraft and agricultural economy. Children were engaged to work on farms by other farmers and were treated in an inhuman manner

How did the Tigris and Euphrates rivers make the growth of civilization Mesopotamia possible?
Finger [1]

Answer:

 • Water and soil brought by the Tigris and Euphrates helped to make this civilization possible. The farmers figured out how to use the two rivers to make the land more fertile. As in some early cultures, the farmers of Mesopotamia produced surplus crops.

 • The Tigris River formed the northern-most boundary of Mesopotamia

 • They used canals, or man-made waterways, as irrigation tools to channel water from rivers to crops.

 • It affected Sumer because the different city states fought each other. Some built up armies. Stronger city-states controlled larger areas.

 • The rivers flooded each year, depositing fertile soil on the land. The rivers also provided water for crops.

 • The surpluses of food encouraged local and long-distance trade because they provided the people with a valuable trading good for which they were able to get other goods that they needed and desired.

 • Priests claimed their status on their association with these lords of land. The Sumerians believed they had been created to serve their gods, and they served their gods with sacrificial offerings and supplications.

Who was primarily responsible for creating the Great Compromise? the delegates from Connecticut the representative from New Jers
Ostrovityanka [42]
Those who were primarily responsible for the Great Compromise were two delegates from Connecticut, Roger Sherman and Oliver Ellsworth. This was because New Jersey, who had a plan drafted by Paterson, had a small-state plan for representation and Virginia, who was a large state had a different plan and they could not agree to a compromise. The Great Compromise, also known as the Connecticut Compromise (because of the delegates who helped to formulate it) was an agreement that all states came to that the lower house would have proportional representation and the upper house would be weighted equally by state.
