I believe that would be the correct term [Definition: a common-law privilege to criticize and comment on matters of public interest without being liable for defamation provided that the comment is an honest expression of opinion and free of malice. But i could be wrong.... Good Luck

I think that Ares means that Percy does not have what it takes because he only knows water. Ares is the god of war and he seems to think that this is better, and that he is better then Percy. He looks at Percy and he sees a weakling because to him he has all the power, and Percy is nothing. Hope this helped. Also, I think it’s not a fair critism because he problaby just judged by looks.

Question 9: What connotations would these lines have invoked in the listener of Edward’s sermon “Sinners in the Hands I’d an Angry God” choose two

Answer:

feelings of fear

Explanation:

There are certain expressions in Edward’s sermon that can invoke fear into the minds of listeners. For example when he said;

"There is the dreadful pit of glowing flames of the wrath of God; there is hell's wide gaping mouth open, and you have nothing to stand upon, nor anything to take hold of..."

In effect, his words create a sense of fear for listeners that God is angry towards those Edward calls "sinners".
