I believe that distance from your community depending on where it is and where you are now could inspire you to make change to your old community. Never forgetting where you’re from gives you confidence in yourself and that is very strong when facing adversity. Oppressive communities don’t help you grow and may have negative vibes but a nurturing community is very welcoming and reliant when you need it.
