Answer:

The three forms of friendship are:

1. Friendship based on utility/ mutual benefit.

2. Friendship based on pleasure/sensual

3. Friendship based on virtue {true friendship}

Explanation:

Aristotle believes that the 3rd form of friendship which is based on virtue is best because the first and second forms are based on individual satisfaction. It is based on individual benefits and can be limited in both time and potency. However, they are still very good because such relationships are also very healthy and reduce incidents of mistrust and increase bonding.

When friendship is based on virtue, you see yourself as blessing to humanity and the populace. It is the type of friendship that makes you want others to be happy for the sake of their happiness not for the benefit you will gain personally or the praises that will come with it. It is the highest level human development in friendship. It transcends beyond tibal boudaries, family, intimacy and mutualism.

Viefleur [7K]
The themes of the book include morality and womanhood. Cassy commits infanticide not because she wanted to do it but because she had no choice. She was a slave and that meant she did not have the capacity to raise the baby. Despite this, she still made her decision to kill the baby and that shows her 'moral weakness.'
