olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

It seems to me that this piece would either be an example of imagery, or an example of a metaphor.

Explanation:

An allusion means to reference someone else's work. Ambiguity is like a play on words. It just seems to me that this would either be imagery or metaphor over the other options.

Anit [1.1K]

Answer: See explanation

Explanation:

Your question isn't well written, but I saw something similar online.

Yesterday, Leila had M baseball cards. Today, she got 11 more. Using M, write an expression for the total number of baseball cards she has now.

For us to solve this question, we have to add the number of baseball cards that she had yesterday plus the number of baseball cards that she had today. This will be:

= M + 11

Therefore, the expression for the total number of baseball cards she has now is M + 11.

Read the sentence.
LuckyWell [14K]
The adverb modifies the verb, but is not an object of the verb.

The object here, what John said is "a very lively Broadway show".  (which contains options a,b and d, and leaves c as the correct answer).

But i would say that there is not "an adverb" but an adverbial phrase "last year" - both these words are needed to form the phrase
