Answer:

Environmental spheres refer to all the physical entities present in the environment. It majorly includes four spheres namely atmosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere and geosphere. However, some include cryosphere as a distinct portion.

1. Atmosphere: It refers to the gaseous blanket that surrounds the earth.

2. Biosphere: It includes all the living organisms including the environment they live in.

3. Hydrosphere: It represents all the water present on the earth. It may be in the form of rivers, lakes, glaciers, oceans, water vapors et cetera.

4. Geosphere: It refers to the solid portion of the earth. It includes crust, mantle, and core of the earth. It provides all the rocks and minerals required by the living organisms.

5. Cryosphere: It refers to the ice sheets (solid form of water) of the earth.

6. In making decisions about land use, what criteria might be used to determine the kinds of evidence that should be required? D
AysviL [449]

Location of land, resources available around and for the land, environment around the soil, texture of soil and water availability.

Criteria needed for land use

Resources available around and for the land, environment around the soil, texture of soil and water availability are the criteria which can be used to determine the kinds of evidence that should be required in making decisions about land use.

If the land has all resources needed for agriculture then the land must be use for agriculture purpose while on the other hand, if the land has limited resources such as water and poor soil texture then the land will be used for infrastructure so we can conclude that available resources to the land decides the usage of land.

Which one of the following statements does not accurately describe vibrations?
brilliants [131]
The correct option is A.
When an end of a tuning fork that is vibrating is placed against a table, it produces a sounder that is dramatically louder than the original sound produced by the vibrating tuning fork. At this stage, the tuning fork is forcing the table to vibrate at its own frequency. Thus, the statement in option A is not true.
