though tom and boo are similar when it comes to being humble , tom is African American which back then wasn't the best time to be African american. Tom also had to go to court in front of almost the whole town whereas boo didn't because of the fact that he had been inside his house away from everyone else almost his whole life.

For his cycle of a love sonnet, he is popularly is known for which includes 'Epithalamion,' which was written in celebration of his marriage.
