Answer:

I believe that Locke and Montesquieu's proposal, when put together, offers a good conception of government.

Explanation:

Let's understand.

John Locke proposed that the natural rights of humans such as freedom, speech, and the right of property should be maintained. The individuals must do whatever they could to not lose these rights, and the state couldn't withdraw these rights, they were inalienable. To the State (or government), the only task was to promote social development and do not interfere in the private property. The theory of three states proposed by Montesquieu would enhance the system, because of the conception that each part of the state would take care of each issue separately.

~ Montesquieu, known as the Balanced Democrat would be the best choice.

Montesquieu did not describe a social contract as such. But he said that the state of war among individuals and nations led to human laws and government.

Montesquieu wrote that the main purpose of government is to maintain law and order, political liberty, and the property of the individual. Montesquieu opposed the absolute monarchy of his home country and favored the English system as the best model of government.

Montesquieu somewhat misinterpreted how political power was actually exercised in England. When he wrote The Spirit of the Laws, power was concentrated pretty much in Parliament, the national legislature. Montesquieu thought he saw a separation and balancing of the powers of government in England.

Montesquieu viewed the English king as exercising executive power balanced by the law-making Parliament, which was itself divided into the House of Lords and the House of Commons, each checking the other. Then, the executive and legislative branches were still further balanced by an independent court system.

Montesquieu concluded that the best form of government was one in which the legislative, executive, and judicial powers were separate and kept each other in check to prevent any branch from becoming too powerful. He believed that uniting these powers, as in the monarchy of Louis XIV, would lead to despotism. While Montesquieu’s separation of powers theory did not accurately describe the government of England, Americans later adopted it as the foundation of the U.S. Constitution.

An important decision because it gave specific powers to each branch and set up something called checks and balances. Just like the phrase sounds, the point of checks and balances was to make sure no one branch would be able to control too much power, and it created a separation of powers

The executive branch, through the Federal agencies, has responsibility for day-to-day enforcement and administration of Federal laws. These Federal departments and agencies have missions and responsibilities that vary widely, from environmental protection to protecting the Nation’s borders.

Describe the three things boy have to be to be a knight
emmainna [20.7K]
<span>Within the many ways of becoming a Knight, here are the primary factors. The first step, is you must have enough money to afford weapons, armor, and war horse. These items certainly weren’t cheap hence wise, only the very wealthy could afford them. A vast majority of knights were Aristocratic. The second step of knighthood, when a boy, or more expectantly, his parents decide he would become a knight, he would be taken at the age of seven, to live and train at a current knight residence. At this stage, the boy was called a page, and would be as the knight’s servant. The page would complete tasks such as serving meals, cleaning his garments, and delivering messages. With this, the page would learn manners. Third, the page would move on to be a squire. At this time, the boy would be about fifteen years old, the boy now had new tasks such as taking care of the horses, and dewling. He becomes a knight at the age of twenty one. In conclusion, a knight must go through several steps before becoming a knight.<span>

Why did some of Roosevelt’s New Deal programs and agencies experience strong legal opposition?
Kruka [31]
Roosevelt was not the same party as the legislative branch. The new deal gave the government power that it has not previously had. He was breaking the standard that Hoover had set by having a very hands off government with the poor.
