In 1798, Eli Whitney began using the process of interchangeable parts. This process involves large quantities of uniform pieces. Interchangeable parts opened the way for producing many different goods through mass production. These advances helped promote the assembly line production. In an assembly line, workers construct products more efficiently by dividing labor into specialized tasks. Each worker produces one part of the product. These innovations in manufacturing spilled over into the development of other industries, including banking, transportation, and communication.

Interchangeable parts- are parts inside of a product that can be replaced individually, without having to replace the entire product

Assembly Line- is the concept of having workers lined up in a "row" and repeatedly do the same job the entire time. this helped with time consumption and made factorial processes much easier

Baghdad is the capital of Iraq and one of the largest cities in the Arab world, and compared to its large population it has a small area at just 673 square kilometers. Located along the Tigris, near the ruins of the Akkadian city of Babylon and the ancient Iranian capital of Ctesiphon, Baghdad was founded in the 8th century and became the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate. Within a short time, Baghdad evolved into a significant cultural, commercial, and intellectual center of the Muslim world.
