The answer is:  3 He has a patriarchal point of view.

In the excerpt from "Antigone," by Sophocles, Creon expresses that the social  system must be controlled and preserved by men. He also underestimates the authority of women and does not think women should rule. As a consequence, he suggests that society must be dominated by the power exercised by the masculine genre.

The correct answer is 3. He has a patriarchal point of view

Explanation:

In the excerpt presented from the Greek play "Antigone" Creon who in the play is the one that rules the city of Thebes states, he would prefer to be expelled by the men of the society than letting a woman be an equal or a competitor for the power. This implies Creon does not want any women in the power taking decisions or that a woman can take the power he owns and instead he prefers to be expelled and abandon the city. This perspective from Creon is consistent with the meaning of patriarchy as in the patriarchy the men are the ones in the power and the ones that take decisions, while women are excluded and limited to minor roles. This also means someone with a patriarchal point of view believes men should be the ones in charge in the society and not women which reflect the way Creon thinks. Thus, the lines show Creon "has a patriarchal point of view" as he cannot imagine a woman can take the power position he has.

How do the interactions between Montresor and Fortunato in “The Cask of Amontillado” advance the plot? Use evidence from the tex
borishaifa [10]

Answer: With their collaboration and dialogue they are advancing the plot.

Explanation:

Interaction between Montresor and Fortunato is the only thing that is advancing the plot because there is not much happening besides their dialogue. In their dialogue, we can see the hint that is showing us that the letter would be ruined and demised.

Montresor is wanting the revenge and he is trying to set a diabolical scheme because of it which is showing us contradictory in him because he is saying something that doesn't approve his acts. Since the story is told from his perspective, we are more likely on his side and we are empathizing with him.

Montresor is telling to Fortunato that he has something that is mistaken for Amontillado and that is a light Spanish sherry. After that, Fortunato is saying that he has forgotten his family's motto which is "No one attacks me with impunity" and after that, he is quitting the interaction and answering to him when he is saying “For the love of God, Montresor!”.
