If the decimal last digit is in tenths then you would put it over 10, if it’s in the hundredths you would put a 100, and if it’s in the thousandths you would put in in 1000

Ex: .35 the last digit is in the hundredths place so you would put 35/100 and reduce it as much as you can. Both 35 and 100 can be divided by 5 and so that leaves you with 7/20 and you can’t reduce it anymore so that’s your final answer.
