How do human sweat and dogs pant
stealth61 [152]
My answer -

As mentioned above, humans have sweat glands over their entire bodies; the only place dogs (and cats, and many other animals with fur over their whole bodies) can get rid of excess heat is through the tongue. By the way, sweating/panting is NOT a means of getting rid of excess water; it is a way of getting rid of heat. We do this because of the process of evaporation. In changing from liquid to vapor, the water absorbs heat from the surface on which it is laying. Actually, most organisms do not want to get rid of excess water; they need to conserve it, but on very hot days animals "spend" the water to achieve the cooling.

P.s

Have an AWESOME!!!! day :)

I have been doing my favorite hobby for a long time. I enjoy listening to music because it transports me to a different world. It keeps me at ease and I forget everything that stresses me out. My favorite genre is rap, and although at times it may be aggressive the lyrics are very meaningful. The bars are catchy and make me want to get up and dance. It's nice knowing someone with the same music taste as you because you can enjoy the music together. The majority of the time the rapper is passionate about the subject they are rapping about. Reading comics is interesting because it helps me to live out adventures I could never go on in real life. The plot twists are cool and always surprising. Reading comics is relaxing because you do not have to focus on anything else. Hiking is exciting since doing so can help you travel the world. The foliage is beautiful and it is very serene. Hiking through the woods can be scary but also fun. There are suspicious things that lurk in the woods but the majority of the time being in the woods is fun.

lyudmila [28]

Answer: Because Sweet Nothings is an expository piece of writing.

Explanation:

Kowalski, the author of Sweet Nothings presents evidence to support weight loss and refute weight loss because her writing is an expository piece of writing.

An expository piece of writing just as the name implies is one that exposes readers to a particular idea or topic. It’s purpose is to inform about and describe a particular subject or idea.

Kowalski, the author of Sweet Nothings may have been expected to stick to a particular side of the subject, that is either present evidence that supports weight loss or the one that refutes weight loss.

Instead, she presented both because her writing is an expository piece informing her readers about the both the advantages and disadvantages of weight loss.

What is the percent by mass of 5 g of sodium chloride mixed with 80 g of water
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

mass of solute (m1) = 5.0 g NaCl

mass of solvent (m2 ) = 80.0 g H2O

T% = ( m1 / m1 + m2 ) * 100

T% = ( 5.0 / 5.0 + 80.0 ) * 100

T% = ( 5.0 / 85.0 ) * 100

T% = 0.0588 * 100

T = 5.88%
