Answer 1) External conflict

Explanation : A king battling another king  is an external conflict as there are two kings who are battling with each other and it is not occurring inside of any one person's thought. It is a physical battle that is happening so, it is external conflict.

Answer 2) Internal Conflict

Explanation : A dieting man avoiding cookies  is a form of internal conflict. As there is no another person or anyone with whom there is a physical interaction. He is controlling his desires and his thoughts to avoid eating cookies as he needs to cut down on his weight and look little slimmer than before.

Answer 3) Internal Conflict

Explanation : A student choosing between video games or studies is internal conflict because he is chasing his thoughts to choose over studies or video games. He is not dealing with anyone in personal but only his internal thoughts.

Answer 4) External conflict

Explanation : A family taking shelter from a hurricane this is an external conflict because here the family is dealing with the outside people and more than one person is involved. That confirms the requirement for an external conflict.

Answer 5) Internal Conflict

Explanation : An employee having to work against a very tight deadline  is an example of internal conflict because he his working hard against his will and trying to convince his thoughts to meet the deadline on time. Here there is no involvement of any other person so, it is internal conflict.
