The correct answer is:
C. After being tested, a skull that the Russians said was Hitler's was found to be the skull of a woman.

This is evidence (as opposed to just a rumour) since it's something that is reliable and can be re-tested, and it was also shown to be pretty certain that the scull belonged to a woman.

Mussolini’s rise to power depended largely on his ability to
Pani-rosa [81]
First question: he started making alliances after coming to power and a war did happen,  so we have to choose amog the two other options:

give powerful and persuasive speeches
create industry and employment where none existed

I find that they're both true and that an even better answer would be that he gave people huge promises of making Italy great again.

If I can choose only one option, then "speeches" is better, since the other one required him to be in power already to do

second question: while the last option did happen, as minorities were persecuted, the major mechanism of keeping the population in control was controlling resistance, so the correct answer is the first one.

Women refusing to conform to gender norms.
lina2011 [118]
The Roaring Twenties

The Roaring Twenties was a time when young women fought against the traditional gender norms. These women (commonly referred to as flappers) would wear short dresses, smoke in public, drink alcohol, and dance in jazz clubs. These acts were all frowned upon for women to do at the time. While in the twenties these women were often viewed as immoral and dangerous, we have since come to recognize them as pioneers of women’s independence, as they pushed back against gender norms.

What is the importance of "We the people" in the beginning of the US Constitution?
Temka [501]

The importance is that for the first time in history, a national constitution explicitly stated that it had been drafted not by a monarch or a group of barons but by representatives of ordinary citizens. It expressed the fact that such government had been instituted by the democratic will of the people and not by the “divine right” of a monarch or ruler.

It is definitely a collective term; it puts forward the right of self-government of the national community. It does not express the ruling will of an individual person but the collective will of an entire nation.

What book influenced the women's movement in America and Europe
solmaris [256]
Simone de Beauvoir, a French author who was of great importance to the emergence of the post war women's liberation movement. In 1949, she published her highly influential work, The Second Sex. As a result of male-dominated societies, she argued, women had been defined by their differences from men and consequently received second-class status. Her book influenced both the American and European women's movements.

Hope this helps
