The main function of reproductive system with in any species to ensure the survival and pro-logitivity of that particular species by reproducing offspring. All other systems with in the body work to ensure proper functioning of the body and maintain its health. The species whose rate of reproduction is slow usually face the challenge of pertaining their existence for a long time. Whenever the death rate become higher than the birth rate within the population of any species, the population of that particular species starts deteriorating.  Hence, reproductive system must be effective to allow an species produce offspring.
