Honestly, a lot of things happened in England during the Middle Ages, so this question should be something based on your knowledge. I'm not sure if this might jog your memory at all, but the more popular high school level answers are the Black Death(Bubonic Plague), The Great Famine, The War of the Roses, and the Peasants' Revolt.
