answer: your best option would be A.

explanation:

let's analyze our options.

<em>The club is not accepting any new members during the summer. </em>"is not accepting" means that they are currently not accepting, so this option is correct.

<em>All the kids decided to go down the street and roller skate. </em>after looking at it for a few minutes, i believe this is incorrect too because A fits better, and decided would mean past.

<em>We will be going to the Grand Canyon as soon as Dad leaves work:</em> this is not correct, since it includes "will be" means it is happening in the future.

<em>I had thought that the soccer game was going to be exciting, but I was wrong: </em>this is not correct. the "had thought" signals it happened it the pst.

Paine says that it is irrational and absurd for such a huge amount of land with practically unlimited resources, to be dominated by such a small island. So basically he said that the argument lacks evidence and ethos

Write a story with these words plisss
finlep [7]

Answer:

This Sunday, my family, which consist of my parents, my brothers, and me, arrive at the Church. We all climb out of our minivan, all with a Bible in our hands. We sit down on the chairs, the wooden pews. Today we open our Bible to learn about how Jesus suffered for humanity. The shepard, our pastor, walks up to stand and greets us. After around 2 hours, we were set off. It was such a good lesson, today. I can't wait until we go next Sunday.

I hope this helps!

What's the difference between theme and central idea? Question 1 options: Theme is the main idea of a story, and central idea is
adelina 88 [10]

A theme is a universal lesson learned and the central idea is a one-sentence main idea.

  • <em>Central idea</em> conveys that the text is about mainly, whereas, <em>theme </em>refers to the author's message, life lesson or moral learned from the story.
  • A <em>central idea</em> cannot be referred to as the topic of the text, on the other hand, a <em>theme</em> cannot be same as topic.
  • In one sentence, the<em> central idea </em>can be stated, whereas, <em>themes</em> are repeated and can be multiple.

Therefore, a theme is not the central idea, nor it can act as a topic of the text.

uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

Technology/social media

Explanation:

In previous generations, most of the social forces that influenced our self-identities were positive; parents, peers, schools, communities, extracurricular activities, even the media sent mostly healthy messages about who we were and how we should perceive ourselves.
