Lasted from approximately 1775 to 1825, The classical period was applied to the arts and literature. A time for Philosophers, Painters, Musicians, Singers, Writers, etc for enlightenment. Also in this era, Public concerts became an important part of the music scene and became more popular than ever. Unlike the Renaissance or Baroque periods, which did have popular artists and philosophers come to light, the choral music of the classical era was dominated by composers, Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), and Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)

because the curator wants people to look at the late 19 th century from a point of view different from what people mostly think about. Compare and contrast the works in this exhibition with Impressionist paintings.
