A blank is a person, especially the member of a group, who takes law into his own hands
disa [49]

Answer:

Vigilante.

Explanation:

Vigilante is a form of the word vigilant, which means "keeping a watchful or close eye on events and people." Sometimes a vigilante will make news for catching a criminal, and sometimes vigilante groups form to target crimes in a bad neighborhood. A common combined use is "vigilante justice," which refers to a form of law-keeping outside of the official channels of police and the courts.

A student is writing an informative essay about the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA). How would FEMA’s website di
Taya2010 [7]

The FEMA website would be more likely to have accurate information than an outside source.

The FEMA website, being a government source, would report their data and information and accurately as possible.

Outside sources regarding FEMA would contain bias, personal experience, and potentially slanted data. FEMA could have misrepresented data but they answer to the government and the people of the country, whereas outside sources answer to an organization or business. Outside sources would need to be corroborated to verify the information. Though all sources should be verified and corroborated, typically government sources are most accurate.

Please help me!

How are electromagnets, generators, and motors different?
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

A generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy, while a motor does the opposite - it converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Both devices work because of electromagnetic induction, which is when a voltage is induced by a changing magnetic field.

AC motors convert electrical energy into that of mechanical. ... Most AC motors produce the current by using induction. An electromagnet causes the magnetic field and uses the same voltage as the coils do.

How did the American Revolution affect England Culture?
Vinil7 [7]

Britain spent a huge amount of money fighting the Revolutionary War, increasing national debt hugely and creating a yearly interest of nearly ten million pounds. Taxes had to be raised as a result. The trade which Britain relied on for wealth was severely interrupted, with imports and exports experiencing large drops and the recession which followed caused stock and land prices to plummet. Trade was also affected by naval attacks from Britain’s enemies, and thousands of merchant ships were captured.

On the other hand, wartime industry such as the naval suppliers or the elements of the textile industry which made uniforms experienced a boost, and unemployment fell as Britain struggled to find enough men for the army, a situation which would cause them to hire German soldiers. British ‘privateers’ experienced as much success preying on enemy merchant ships as almost any of their opponents.

The effects on trade were also short term, as British trade with the new USA rose to the same levels as trade with them in colonial form by 1785, and by 1792 trade between Britain and Europe had doubled. Additionally, while Britain gained an even larger national debt, they were in a position to live with it and there were no financially motivated rebellions like those of France.

Indeed, Britain was able to support several armies during the Napoleonic wars (and even field its own instead of just paying for other peoples). It's been said that Britain was even right to lose the war because of the economic benefits.
