Answer:

John Rolfe and John Smith were associated with the colony of Virginia.

Explanation:

-John Rolfe was one of the early English settlers in North America.  He was born in Heacham, Norfolk. He settled in Jamestown, Virginia in 1609 where he is credited with being the first person to commercially exploit tobacco in North America. This turned the Virginia colony into a profitable enterprise.  In 1614, Rolfe married Pocahontas, the daughter of the local leader of the Native Americans, the Powhatan chief. Pocahontas died after taking her to England in 1616, but their young son, Thomas Rolfe, survived. John Rolfe may have been killed by Powhatan. He died suddenly in 1622, a year of warfare between the colonists and the tribes.

-John Smith was an English colonizer.  After an adventurous life during adolescence, he participated in the colonization of Virginia. In 1607 he sailed up the James River, where he was captured by the Indians. In 1624, he wrote a book in which he told the story of how he was saved thanks to the young Native American Pocahontas' courage.
