Answer:

The correct answer is C. Companies use investments to reduce the opportunity cost of low productivity.

Explanation:

Generally, companies have as their main source of income their productivity, that is, the economic result of the specific operations of the company, such as the sale of a certain product, the rental of a certain good, the provision of a certain service , etc. However, many companies invest these economic results, to maximize their profits and thus cover eventual future losses, or else cover the opportunity costs of the different production options carried out. In this way, companies have a second source of income, which allows them to cover eventualities in the future.

What is one advantage of a multiparty system?
Inessa [10]

The correct answer is: Voters have a wider choice of candidates and ideas.

In a bi party system there are only 2 options which in general have a very narrow ideology and therefore divide a country. As a voter you may not feel identified with any of them.  When more parties participate, different ideologies are represented  and those voters have a greater probability to find one that suits them. Also they have more chance that their ideas are represented in Congress.

Which statement best describes James Watt's contribution to the Industrial
Mekhanik [1.2K]

B. He improved the steam engine, allowing it to be used in many

industries

Explanation:

  • The first steam engine was built in 1698, and by the time Watt was born, the machines, perfected by Thomas Newcomen, were already pumping water from mines throughout the country.
  • Sometime around 1764, Watt was given a model of the Newcomen machine to repair it.
  • Realizing that it was impossible to repair her, he began to work to improve it.
  • He added a separate condensation chamber that prevented excessive steam loss. He patented a new, improved model of a steam engine in 1769.

Marshall court re-emphasized Article VI (Supremacy) stating that federal law trumps state and this decision further emphasized the Commerce Clause stating that commerce was not defined solely as the buying and selling of goods, but the transportation thereof as well. Establishing that only the national Congress had the ability to regulate interstate trade, further strengthening the federal government over the states.
