They great general Grant and his men put the city of Vicksburg under siege and along with some very good battle strategies were able to defeat the confederacy.

Explanation:

The Siege of Vicksburg was a great victory for the Union. It gave control of the Mississippi River to the Union. Around the same time, the Confederate army under General Robert E. what's the difference between distance relationships and online dating? how long do you have to know somebody for it to be a lon
oksian1 [2.3K]
Online dating can be in like a game you might not even now the person they can be like twice your age! But a distance relationship you know who they are because you can call them or face time and text them and send pictures of yourself to them. You need to know them for a long time so you can trust them because they might be cheating but if you know them for a long time you would know if they would cheat or not and for online dating it dosnt matter if you know the person for a long time they can be cat fishing you or lieing to you and a little extra you should be a long distance relationship then a online relationship. Hope this helps!

The controversy over Missouri's request for statehood: did not affect the balance of power in Congress was settled by the Missou
Minchanka [31]
First off, the controversy of this had led to an imbalance in congress among the number of free states and slave states. So this rules out our first option. Due to it not being all of the above, that's our fourth answer ruled out as well. The Webster speech did not happen for 10 more years so it is very unlikely that this is what led to that speech. Even without the process of elimination, it would be B because the Missouri Compromise admitted Missouri as a slave state and Maine as a free state in order to preserve the balance of power in congress. Also, Henry Clay (the Great Compromiser) drafted this.
